The swearing-in ceremony will take place today in the two northeastern states of Nagaland and Meghalaya. Neiphiu Rio of NDPP and Conrad Sangma of NPP will take oath as Chief Minister of Nagaland and Meghalaya respectively.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, today on a three-state tour of the Northeast. He will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed government of Nagaland and Meghalaya here. In Nagaland, the government will be formed under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio of NDPP and in Meghalaya under the leadership of NPP leader Conrad Sangma. PM will reach Tripura’s capital Agartala on Wednesday.

In Nagaland, the NDPP and BJP alliance has made a comeback in this time’s assembly elections. The Prime Minister will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Neiphiu Rio’s government here. After this, PM Modi will participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP alliance with the NPP in Meghalaya. On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will stay in Guwahati. During this, he will meet BJP ministers and senior leaders here. The PM will travel to Tripura’s capital Agartala on Wednesday morning, where he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP alliance.
