Kapil Sharma’s mother has become a star at this age, revealed many secrets about BIG B and SRK, told the story of their first meeting

Answering a question, Kapil revealed how his mother got angry when a group of women walked by without recognizing her and called them back. Narrating this funny anecdote, Kapil said, ‘Mummy comes to almost all my shows and she has become very popular. We went to London once and were sitting somewhere and a group of women came, took a photo with me and left. Mummy felt very bad. He called those women and said, Aunty ji you are here. She enjoys all this and has become a star at this age.

Kapil said that due to the presence of his mother in the show, even his writers do not share anything controversial and now his show has become a family show. Kapil said that now that he has become a father of two children, he can really understand what his mother must have gone through when his father died of cancer at a very young age. He said that he really admires his mother for her courage and raising three children during that difficult time.

Reminiscing the initial days of shooting for his show, Kapil said that there was a time when he was shooting with Mr. Bachchan for the first time and he was so nervous that he could not sit through the entire episode. ‘When Big B came on my show for the first time, I didn’t have the guts to sit on the chair and did the whole show standing up (didn’t even cross my mind) or no one even asked me to sit.’

He also spoke about his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan many years back and how King Khan introduced him to Deepika Padukone (New Qamar). Kapil said, “When I met Shah Rukh for the first time, he is such a nice person that he makes the other person very comfortable. He called me in his van for the first time. Deepika was new in the industry at that time and he asked her do you know her? He made fun of Devdas and I am his fan. I was scared. They stayed on the set for 6 hours and shot which was a lot of fun.
