The Jammu and Kashmir administration is restoring a 700-year-old Mangleshwar Bhairav Temple. According to the officials carrying out the restoration work, no cement is being used. Only the material that was used to build the temple originally is being used. The temple was severely damaged by the 2014 floods. The temple is located in the heart of Srinagar city. The work was started in June 2022 and is expected to be completed next month, they said, adding that the estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.62 core.
