Tomorrow we will be under the protection of Poonch residents so that they can celebrate Holi with full enthusiasm. So, we are celebrating Holi a day earlier today. This is to say of CRPF officers Jatinder Kumar and Balwan Singh deployed in Poonch to maintain law and order and protect the people. He was celebrating Holi with the jawans at the Corps Headquarters in the city on Monday.

He said that by the way, his duty is 24 hours a day, seven days. But whenever he gets time, he celebrates every festival with the jawans, so that the jawans do not feel like being away from their homes. On the occasion, following the rules of duty in front of the officers every day, the jawans who used to salute were also happily hugging the officers by applying color on their faces with their hands.

Holi celebrations were organized at 72nd Corps Headquarters of CRPF located at Mohalla Police Line of the city on Monday morning at 10 am. A large number of jawans and officers participated in this and first applied Gulal to each other, and hugged and congratulated Holi.

After a few moments, the fervor of Holi started appearing. The faces of officers and jawans were seen painted with colorful colours. Bridging the distance bound by the rules between the soldiers and the officers, they were celebrating Holi by dancing and singing together. After hours of dancing and blowing gulal, everyone was seen gossiping while having refreshments.

Jatindra Kumar, the local commandant of CRPF, said that Holi is the only festival which gives an opportunity to all the people to mingle with each other. As many colors are seen on one face, similarly people are one even after coming from different regions and different communities.
