Noting a sudden spurt in the cases of the H3N2 virus, which has become a cause of concern ahead of the Holi festival, Dr Ajay Shukla, Director of RML Hospital advised the public to continue wearing masks to prevent the higher risk of infection. He said that the rise in cases is of the most common Influenza and not COVID. “Following healthy practices including sanitation, washing hands and wearing masks can help in preventing the virus,” said Dr Ajay Shukla.
