Buenos Aires. More than one million fans flocked to buy tickets online to watch Argentina’s first friendly match at home after being crowned world champions. Lionel Messi’s team will play a friendly against Panama on March 23 at the Monumental de Nuñez Stadium in Buenos Aires.

Ticket prices have sparked a debate in this South American country battling an economic crisis, but despite this all the tickets were sold out in just two hours. Argentina will play another friendly against Curaçao on March 28 in Santiago del Estero province. Tickets for that match are not yet available.
